Tour Director
David Hurrion
David Hurrion has over four decades of gardening knowledge, practical experience and botanical and scientific training.
This tour will be led by David Hurrion, who has worked in gardens and nurseries around the UK and has travelled extensively abroad. As a trained teacher, he has taught a range of subjects from botany, soil science and plant identification to propagation, garden design and crop production. David has published for BBC Gardeners’ World Magazine and appeared on TV and radio. He is a Show Judge for the Royal Horticultural Society, and has also designed, built and planted show gardens and display stands at many major garden shows, including the world-famous Chelsea Flower Show, where he was a Show Judge for 2025. David is a popular figure in the horticultural world, respected for his knowledge by nurserymen, professional gardeners, journalists and the gardening public.
