Bachfest attracts many of the world’s finest musicians, from distinguished soloists to celebrated chamber ensembles, and the 2027 festival will be no exception. Previous tours have included concerts by Florilegium, Brecon Baroque and The Sixteen.

Sandy Burnett has conducted the major sacred works by J S Bach, and has also masterminded a complete cycle of the composer’s sacred cantatas.

This tour will be led by Sandy Burnett, MA, a musician and broadcaster who spent over a decade as one of the best-known classical music presenters on BBC Radio 3. Following many successful tours to Bath in recent years, Sandy looks forward to returning to the Bachfest with another ACE group in 2027.
