Customers on board ACE’s 2019 Advent Rhine Cruise
Our base for this cruise will be the MS Lafayette, a premium five-anchor ship featuring comfortable accommodation over two decks and a sundeck. The MS Lafayette was entirely refurbished in 2015.
This cruise has been designed as a relaxing, musical voyage soaking up the special atmosphere of Germany during Advent. Much time is spent cruising, with many of our mornings dedicated to lectures and recitals. Afternoon visits to nearby historical and cultural sites are followed by music and dinner in the evenings. Participants should not find the itinerary particularly strenuous, however please note that some visits involve city-based walking, standing in galleries and climbing/descending quayside steps, and participants should therefore meet our usual fitness requirements.
Calling all carollers! This cruise will feature an optional, on-board choir, which will rehearse a variety of well-known traditional carols in preparation for a gala concert at the end of the cruise. Whether you sing regularly, or if you have just always wanted to be in a choir, all are very welcome to join.
