Whole day excursion through Apennine Mountains to Urbino for Ducal Palace (inspiration for Castiglione’s Book of the Courtier): ducal apartments and Galleria Nazionale. Free afternoon in Urbino followed by San Bernardino. Free evening.
Whole day excursion to Cortona: Museo Diocesano, optional independent visits to Santa Maria del Calcinaio, San Domenico and Museo dell’Accademia Etrusca.
