Join a Cambridge historian, who is an expert on the Reformation, on this history tour to examine the life and career of Luther during this anniversary year.
• In 2017, national celebrations in Germany will mark 500 years since Martin Luther published his 95 Theses and began a movement that would change the course of European history forever.
• Follow Luther’s life and career from his birth in Eisleben to his meteoric university careers in Erfurt and Wittenberg.
• Take in the special exhibitions in Wartburg Castle, where Luther began translating the New Testament into German, in Wittenberg, where he posted his Theses, and in Berlin.
