At Home with John Keats
This month marks 200 years since the death of one of England’s best-loved poets, John Keats. In honour of this, we turn our attention to the Keats House Museum in London. Keats lived here from late 1818 until 1820, during which time he experienced a great outpouring of creativity, producing many of his best-known works. The building is a beautiful Regency villa just on the edge of Hampstead Heath, and today is an oasis of calm, just as it would have been in Keats’ day.Posted in:
