Itinerary

Day

1

Assemble 1600 at the Doubletree by Hilton Hotel, Cambridge, for two nights. Introductory talk and drinks reception followed by evening recital at Corpus Christi College with John Bryden (piano) and Matthew Souter (viola/ violin): Schubert on violin, viola & piano – Arpeggione Sonata in A minor for viola and piano D821; Duo in A for violin and piano D574; piano Sonata in A minor D845.

Day

2

Morning at Emmanuel College: accompanied lecture Schubert’s Die schöne Müllerin, followed by private piano recital by John Bryden: Schubert Sonata in G major D894. Afternoon: guided tour of a selection of Cambridge colleges. Evening performance at Stapleford Granary with Henk Neven (baritone) and Imogen Cooper (piano): Die schöne Müllerin.
