Itinerary

Day

1

Tour assembles 1330 at Parliament House Hotel, Edinburgh, for two nights. Introduction and recital at Canongate Church followed by walk up the Royal Mile and recital at the Royal Masonic Lodge (home of The Royal Order of Scotland and a beautiful Snetzler organ). Evening recital in St Giles’ Cathedral.

Day

2

Morning: recital at the Reid School of Music followed by St Cecilia’s Hall (the oldest purpose-built concert hall in Scotland and home to Edinburgh University’s collection of historical musical instruments). Lunchtime concert at Usher Hall (TBC) followed by recital in St Mary’s Episcopal Cathedral Song School and visit to Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art. Choir practice and Choral Evensong at St Mary’s Episcopal Cathedral followed by evening recital in St Mary’s Metropolitan Cathedral.

Day

3

Morning walking tour through the New Town followed by final recital in St Stephen’s Stockbridge. Tour disperses 1200 at the hotel.
