Excursion to the sacred Buddha caves of Tham Ting and Tham Phoum. Return to Luang Prabang by boat along the Mekong, via rural riverside villages. Afternoon visits to Wat Mai (five-tiered roof and exquisite carving), Wat Visoun (Luang Prabang’s oldest temple) and Wat Aham.
Depart Luang Prabang through beautiful mountain scenery via Phoukoun to Xieng Khouang. Two nights at Vansana Plain of Jars Hotel, Phonsavan.
