Andrew is co-founder of the National Botanic Garden of Wales.

Andrew previously taught the history of landscape and garden aesthetics at the Architectural Association, London, and at the University of Wales.

Andrew runs his own landscape and garden consultancy, and has lectured and published widely on horticulture, garden history and aesthetics, both in Britain and abroad.
