Rupert studied at King's College, London, and at the Royal Academy of Music.
A composer, and for many years a professional orchestral violinist, Rupert now lectures widely on music and has taught a range of musical appreciation courses.
Rupert has helped to develop a range of music courses for ACE that embrace some of Europe's premier festivals. He is a trustee of the Association for Cultural Exchange.
