Bespoke travel

For over 50 years ACE Cultural Tours has organised bespoke UK and worldwide cultural tours for a large variety of special interest groups and societies, including educational institutions such as the Universities of Cambridge and Oxford, NADFAS and fine art museums.

Our expertise enables us to plan, design and organise tailor-made tours and cruises to suit every interest, destination, duration and budget. Drawing on our enviable network of contacts, we can often arrange privileged access to sites, exhibitions and properties not generally open to the public.

“Our society has travelled with ACE Cultural Tours on several occasions, both in the UK and overseas. We have always found their organisation, service and itineraries to be both excellent and to meet our needs as a group. The staff have always been there for advice on the programme whether it was a named tour or one of our suggestions. We would not hesitate to recommend their services.”  Jan Richardson, Chairman, Bishop’s Stortford DFAS

Specialist tour leaders

Many of our Tour Directors are NADFAS accredited lecturers, however all are keen to share their passion and knowledge with a group as well as being convivial hosts. Our Tour Directors include art and architectural historians, archaeologists, musicologists, botanists and ecologists, specialists in history and literature as well as actors and classical music concert performers.

Recent bespoke group tours have been led by:

“I always enjoy introducing ACE’s DFAS groups to the wealth of architectural and historical gems that I have discovered and worked on in country halls and private houses across England. It’s so rewarding to share my enthusiasm with such interested and friendly groups.”  David Bostwick
